OSAA State Track and Field Championships May 16-18, 2024

OSAA Track and Field Championships 2024 have come and gone. It was a great weekend of running, jumping and throwing. Great weather made for some amazing photos and tons of fun. 

Hayward Field on the University of Oregon Campus in Eugene, OR was the site for the meet and did not disappoint. Athletes were ushered in and out of the infield with precision making great performances a common sight all weekend. 

Honestly, there were too many great performances to mention them all, but i will take a second to tell you about a few. 

Truman Brasfield from Corvallis High (Junior, pictured above) won the 5A Boys Long Jump with a 21-11.00.

Emily Wisniewski from Crescent Valley High (Junior) won the 5A Girls 3000m by almost 20 seconds. 

Philomath High Girls won the 4A Girls 4X100m Relay after a spectacular finish by Janice Hellesto (Junior).

And Bodey Lutes from Marshfield High won the 4A Boys 400m in a State Meet Record time of 47.97.
