South Albany vs Crescent Valley OSAA 5A Girls Basketball 1-30-2024

Crescent Valley hosted South Albany for a Mid-Willamette League matchup, Tuesday night in Corvallis, Oregon. It was a hard fought game that ended with the Raiders on top 56-53, in overtime. 

The Redhawks won the first meeting of the season between these two teams, but the Raiders were not willing to end this one in a season sweep. 

For Crescent Valley, Payton Starwalt (Freshman, #32, pictured above) and Haley Bland (Junior, #4, pictured below), combined to score 34.

Strong performances for South Albany from 3 Sophomores, Taylor Donaldson (#21, pictured above), Kaylee Cordle (#42, pictured above) and Nevaeh Ukaoma (#24, pictured above), who all scored in double figures.
